About the Speaker
Don Moseman is a Training Director and Master Trainer with the North Dakota Safety Council, specializing in emergency planning, active shooter response, and violence prevention. Since joining the North Dakota Safety Council in 2013, Don has led the development of safety and prevention training programs for schools, businesses, and community organizations across the state.
Don’s career in safety and security spans military service, law enforcement, and national safety leadership. He served seven years in the United States Air Force as an Electronic Nuclear Weapon Specialist, holding the highest security clearance and specializing in Critical Nuclear Weapon Design Information. Following his military service, he earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and spent nearly two decades as a state trooper, where his responsibilities included hand-to-hand combat instruction, driver safety education, and participation in federal anti-school violence programs.
In recognition of his contributions to school violence prevention, Don was named Law Enforcement Education Officer of the Year by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms in 2003. He later served as Director of Government Programs for the National Safety Council, continuing his work to strengthen safety standards and training nationwide. Today, Don brings his extensive experience and practical expertise to violence prevention and emergency planning efforts throughout North Dakota.

She holds a GPS (Global Priorities Solution) Certification Specialist which transforms the culture of organizations by bringing people together using Value Based Leadership Round Tables, a certified trainer and coach, with The Maxwell Leadership Team, a Results Coach trained by Robbins Research International, Developmental Dimensions International certified, and she is a certified Professional in Human Resources.
